The Waupaca Area Public Library is asking for your input. Community members are invited to take part in a new library survey, now available online at waupaca library dot org. Participants will be entered to win a 50-dollar gift certificate from the Waupaca Chamber of Commerce. The library is also hosting a Community Conversation on Tuesday, March 10th, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A and B. Library leaders say it’s a chance to help shape the future of your community library. Registration details are available on the library’s website.

Work progresses on the Waupaca recreation center expansion project.  The expansion will add more gym space, meeting rooms and a business center.  Drywall and HVAC work is underway within the newly added space.  It is anticipated that the blue gym at the recreation center will be closed March 6-13 to do work to join the current and new gym space together.  The expansion project is expected to be completed and open to the public this summer.

The City of Waupaca invites you to enjoy Youth Art Month, an ongoing exhibit showcasing the artwork of local Kindergarten through 12th grade students at the Waupaca Area Public Library. The display runs through March 28 and celebrates the creativity and talent of area youth in collaboration with the School District and the Waupaca Public Library Foundation. The exhibit is located in the lower level, at no cost to visit and open during normal library hours.
